What You’ll get to Do:

Work on CACI’s growing Space Development Team as a DevOps Engineer focusing on ground/payload system hardware and support.

CACI’s Advanced Systems Group is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Space Systems Development Team. Are you interested in working on infrastructure, software design, and architectures? As a DevOps Engineer with CACI, you will have the opportunity to foster a pattern of continuous improvement within our organization. Our DevOps engineers participate in the full lifecycle of software development, focused on the creation, quality, deployment and monitoring of software solutions.

Responsibilities:

As a member of an agile development team, you will have the opportunity to support a variety of focus areas, such as:

  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Distributed systems design
  • Container Orchestration
  • Test Driven Design and Automation
  • Release management
  • CI/CD pipeline automation
  • Cross Domain Solutions
  • Automated deployment and monitoring solutions

In this role will facilitate cross team communications, establishing and promoting best practices to multiple teams. Remote work is supported, to the extent allowed by your active project.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree (ABET/EAC Accredited) in Computer Science or related technology
  • 3+ years of related experience in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering)
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience with GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub Enterprise or similar source repository and CI/CD collaboration platforms
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Bash, Python and/or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and their application to deployment and management of infrastructure
  • Current or ability obtain DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (i.e. Security+ certification)
  • Ability to develop in multiple programming languages such as bash, Python
  • Excellent communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to works well on a team
  • Passion for automation and continual learning

Desired Skills:

  • Cisco Certified DevNet Associate certificate or equivalent
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate certificate or equivalent
  • Experience with Docker or similar container technology
  • Experience with virtualization software technology

Desired Certifications:

  • AWS Associate Certifications
  • Container Orchestration
  • Advanced RHEL Certificates
  • CISSP
  • Security+

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$72,200 - $147,900
