Reporting to:
Sr. Revenue Manager

Role Overview:
As a Revenue Accountant at our company, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate revenue accounting and compliance with revenue recognition policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review deals for proper revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Assist sales and legal teams with contract negotiations, providing revenue recognition recommendations.
• Collaborate with legal, sales, operations, and finance to evaluate new licensing or subscription models.
• Evaluate impacts to revenue recognition and communicate key risks to accounting management.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly close activities.
• Maintain and update internal control documentation for revenue recognition and support related audits.
• Review and support revenue recognition disclosures in company financials.
• Create detailed revenue reporting for management purposes.
• Monitor industry/regulatory changes in revenue recognition and develop new processes and policies.
• Assist in the transition to a new accounting system (Oracle Fusion).
• Calculate standalone selling price (SSP) allocations and the deferral and amortization of contract acquisition costs.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and handle multiple, competing tasks simultaneously.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA preferred.
• 1-3 years of technical accounting experience with a focus on Revenue Recognition in public accounting and corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP in revenue recognition, preferably in a software environment, with expertise in ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
• Ability to perform in-depth research on complex technical accounting matters and summarize conclusions effectively.
• Experience with Federal contracts is preferred.
• Proficiency with various applications; experience with Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, Xactly CEA, and SQL a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel).
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
