Security Infrastructure Lead

Full-Time

Bristol, site-based

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Infrastructure Lead to join our Defence Aerospace business in Bristol.

In this role, you will report directly to the SVP Infrastructure, and will be accountable for Security across our infrastructure works and projects, including construction security and assurance, acting as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security policy, standards and documentation for the Defence Programmes. You will be delivering on the requirements against MOD programmes of work.

What you will be doing:

With this exciting opportunity you will:

  • Act as the authority and intelligent customer for physical security standards Programme facilities and sites in accordance with the Government Functional Standard GovS 007.                           
  • Lead in developing, implementing and maintaining the physical security standards and all associated documents, procedures and policies for compartments/facilities in accordance with programme security requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with relevant external organisations, which include the MOD, accreditation body, National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) and internal stakeholders such as the site security and infrastructure team, Security Operations team, Risk and Compliance Manager and principal contractors to demonstrate that security arrangements, infrastructure works, and construction activities are compliant, meet the required programme and accreditation standards and are approved by the relevant accreditation authorities.
  • Support the maintenance of the programme and facility Security Plan and Security Risk Register, working collaboratively with the wider Defence security function.

  • Excellent working knowledge of UK security regulations, MoD Security Policies/Procedures, technical security systems and the principles of security management.
  • Experience of physical security arrangements in compliance with National Protective Security Agency (NPSA).
  • Excellent understanding of project management, reporting and record keeping with outstanding planning abilities.
  • Experience across security audit and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the enterprise with strong influencing and communication skills.

This role will require you to hold a Developed Vetting (DV). To start, you will require a minimum Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work.
