Description
The cyber security expert role will focus on supporting the implementation of new cloud functionality together with the Agile development teams in close cooperation with the Agile Product Manager and Architects. As a Cloud Security expert, you will also use your expertise and experience to mentor and coach colleagues, understand the security and privacy goals of the organization, and provide technical risk-based security trade-offs concerning systems, functions, modules, components, interfaces, and capability areas. You will also work in close liaison with car development and security specialists.

In particular, you will work with the following tasks:

• Serve as a subject matter expert for AWS and Kubernetes and cloud software development security best practices.
• Work with System Architects to develop, analyze, and realize the implementation of security features.
• Perform IT security reviews and risk assessments of Connected Car solutions.
• Participate in planning and security design of the program content and explore alternatives.
• Contribute to the security strategy for Connected Cars.
• Promote security principles like Defense in-depth, Secure by Default, and Least Privileges.

You and Your Background
In order for you to fully enjoy this job, we think that you have ideas on how the team can deliver secure functionality implemented on up-to-date IT cloud architecture and software.

The client is looking for two possible backgrounds:

• Option 1: Someone with more than 8 years of experience and a good capacity to work on the global picture.
  • Experience in requirements handling.
  • Good knowledge of cloud-specific regulations.
• Option 2: Someone with more than 5 years of experience, especially in tooling and AWS offerings.
  • Certification in AWS technologies.
  • Experience in development.

Common:
We see that you have the following education:

• BSc degree or higher in engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Mastery of the English language, both spoken and written.

• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Envoy, Istio
• Jira, GitLab, GitHub
• Maven, GitOps, GoCD, Argo CD
• OpenIdConnect, OAuth2, x509
• OWASP SAMM
• Risk-based approach
• Logging, monitoring solutions
• Security infrastructure

Personal Qualities:

• Good communication skills; the ability to share ideas verbally in a clear, concise manner to both technical specialists and people without technical knowledge.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Structured and analytical way of taking on tasks and performing on a daily basis in a result-oriented way.
• A mindset of problem-solving and compromise on how to achieve the best cybersecurity for the product.
