We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Director of Technical Program Manager for Security to join our team, reporting to our Chief Information Security Officer. You will lead a team of Program Managers, focused on Security initiatives, as well as lead cross-functional security programs to implement security measures, navigate regulatory requirements, and drive collaboration across various departments to achieve our security objectives.
What You'll Do
- Define and build comprehensive plans for a Technical Program Management team focused on security programs.
- Define plans for program management across top-priority security initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables, to guide the successful execution and delivery of objectives.
- Recruit top security Technical Program Managers to execute on security program initiatives.
- Lead the planning, tracking, and execution of cross-functional security initiatives including security enhancements, vulnerability management, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure program success and effectiveness.
- Provide detailed reports and status updates on security programs at the task level, to ensure proper visibility of details are shared with decision makers.
- Collaborate with other TPMs within the CoreWeave to ensure programs are aligned and act as a Security Team liaison to other parts of the business needing Security Services.
- Own the Security Service Catalog, enabling business teams and stakeholders to easily engage and consult with the Security team and services.
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and communicate program requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with critical objectives.
- Foster collaboration and effective communication among various teams to ensure alignment and successful program execution.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align program objectives and secure necessary resources and support.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to Security initiatives throughout the programs overseen and proactively communicate to relevant stakeholders to drive resolutions and minimize impact.
- Develop and implement scalable processes for program management within the company.
- Facilitate clear and concise communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and understanding of program objectives, progress, and challenges.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility to senior management and executive stakeholders.
Who You Are
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on security and compliance, preferably in large technology or public cloud service providers
- Strong experience reporting program status to executive management and senior leadership
- Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices across various domains, including network security, application security, data protection, and data center security protocols
- Experience with security risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response programs and processes
- Experience with cloud technologies and cloud security frameworks
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects and programs from initiation to completion
- Strong expertise in utilizing Jira, Excel and other data management tools to collect, aggregate and report on data/ build metrics for executive and team views
- The agility to navigate and excel in a fast-evolving landscape, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to shifting priorities and demands
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey multi-faceted plans and technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Relevant Security related certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP, GSEC
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $240,000-$275,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
