The Opportunity
The Adobe Cyber Security Internship is an excellently crafted program for ambitious students eager to advance their skills in a dynamic and innovative environment. This program offers an outstanding opportunity for cybersecurity students to gain hands-on experience and develop their careers in this exciting field.
The internship consists of two parts: a 5-week virtual part-time internship in the spring and a 12-week traditional internship at Adobe's San Jose office in the summer.
As a Cyber Security Intern for Customer Trust & Audit at Adobe, you will be part of the Global Customer Audit team within the Technology GRC (TechGRC) group. Your main responsibility will be supporting customer driven audits.
What You'll Do
- Work under the guidance of the TechGRC manager to drive customer audit activities across Adobe.
- Assist in information security-related customer audit assessments covering domains such as User Access Management, Network, OS & Application Security, Encryption, Backup Management, Disaster Recovery, Physical Security, Training & Awareness.
- Collaborate with different collaborators to gather evidence and respond to customer inquiries.
- Support liaising with customers (or their auditors) to help them gain comfort with Adobe’s trust program and respond to customer findings with mitigating/compensating factors.
- Identify control issues, ensure they are well-defined, and determine root causes.
- Collaborate and coordinate activities with the TechGRC team across multiple geo-locations.
What You Need to Succeed
To apply, you must be enrolled in your university's engineering program with a target graduation date between December 2025 - May 2026. Applicants should demonstrate academic excellence and leadership on campus. Your university must permit you to participate in both spring and summer sessions of the internship.
- Knowledge of Compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, FedRAMP, ISO, PCI, HIPAA).
- Understanding of core IT processes/services such as SDLC, Identity/User Access Management, Backup and Disaster Recovery processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a proven ability to be a great teammate and possess strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and IT technical staff, including IT and business management.
- Capacity to anticipate questions, independently assess risk, and think critically and creatively.
