As a Database Cyber Security Expert within the team, you will protect sensitive data by securing databases against unauthorized access, cyberattacks, and breaches. You will design and implement security protocols, monitor for vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations while collaborating with IT teams to maintain robust, secure database environments.

Main responsibilities:

• Own the Database Cybersecurity policy (access, hardening, auditing, …)  and monitor its compliance for majority of Database used within Sanofi: Oracle, MicrosoftSQL PostGreSQL and other cloud databases including Snowflake
• Develop, maintain dashboards to manage security risks, track deviations and produce appropriate remediation and improvement plans.

• Serve as a consultant on Database security topics, (that includes but is not limited to architectures) to prevent and detect Data leakages (especially sensitive data in transit and at rest)
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Database security to enhance cybersecurity resilience.

About you:

• 5+ years' experience in Database administration on various technologies (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MicrosoftSQL and other Cloud DB (dynamo DB, Mongo DB, Snowflake)

• Skilled in scripting (SQL, Python)

• Willing to move on Cybersecurity team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 

• Well self-organized and ability to structure the plan 

• Ability to work with many different stakeholders in a heterogeneous international environment
