Job Description
As a digital transformation company, Sopra Steria’s digital assets are vital; and it’s our security experts that keep them safe. To do so, you’ll use firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems while staying informed of the latest security trends, technologies and legislation so you can comply with industry standards. You’ll work across departments, so communication, collaboration, attention to detail and analysis are essential skills. You’ll implement security protocols, conduct regular audits and develop and enforce security policies. You’ll bring your skills in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response to bear across our solutions and frameworks. You’ll also play a role in educating staff and raising awareness of potential threats to build holistic, end-to-end security.
Our Architects have the vision and leadership skills to make daring IT decisions that can make digital transformation a reality. Your ability to collaborate across teams and departments and your flexibility to adopt new technologies will help you enhance system performance, scalability, and security. Qualifications

- Contract hours: 40 hours
- Contract type: Permanent/freelance
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent experience
- Experience: 10 years
- Languages: English and French desirable
You have knowledge and experience of the following:
- Cybersecurity, industry standards (e.g. CMMI, ISO 9001),
- Cloud- certification or proven expertise in AWS security solutions,
- network security concepts,
- Cybersecurity Certification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, or equivalent),
- Understanding of authentication and authorisation mechanisms and protocols, cryptography and latest cryptographic standards, including PKI,
- Working knowledge of the OWASP Top 10,
- Full-stack knowledge of IT infrastructure: applications, databases, operating systems — Windows, Unix, and Linux, IP networks — WAN and LAN, knowledge of DevSecOps, knowledge of API Architectures.
