What is the Opportunity?
The opportunity is for an analyst to provide oversight, monitoring and enhancement to existing data loss protection services and processes. The incumbent will be responsible to help investigate and respond to identified data exposures.
What will you do?
- Proactively investigate and lead data loss monitoring efforts within the environment.
- Communicate with internal areas at all reporting levels.
- Collaborate with data protection teams to highlight issues and to help enhance current monitoring controls.
- Support policy updates by coordinating enhancements with other team members partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and partners.
- Ensure that process documentation is maintained, reviewed, and updated on an ongoing basis.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- A good understanding of data risk and exposures
- Knowledge of investigations and incident response processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities
- A willingness to make a difference and help protect business areas and data
Nice to have:
- Industry related certification – eg. Security+, CC certified with ISC2
- Knowledge of financial services business line(s) and associated applications and processes
- Information Technology standards, methodologies, and audit requirements
Rotational After-hours and on-call pager duty is mandatory
