Job Description

Your Career

The Senior Program Manager is a senior level role that will support large and complex consulting engagements and security transformation programs across JAPAC. The individual will report directly to the VP for Unit 42 in JAPAC and partner with Unit 42 leadership and Security Consulting PMO to lead GCO programs and projects, as well as support Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) and Proactive Services engagements across the region.

Your Impact:

  • Has considerable cybersecurity and security transformation experience across diverse sectors, industries and markets (in  JAPAC)

  • Has  experience operating at technical, CxO and board levels

  • Has appropriate consulting, program, change management and communication skills, as well as stakeholder management experience, to gain credibility and trust with complex stakeholders

  • Can effectively articulate themes that organisations are challenged by with regards to what's driving transformation, including new digital environments,  the legal, compliance and regulatory landscape, stakeholder expectations, budgetary concerns and factors including Total Cost of Ownership and Return on Security Investments, 3rd party/supply chain risk and exposure and the evolving threat landscape

  • Has experience working with partners

  • Understands threat-led, data driven consulting and has sufficient technology and cybersecurity experience to be able to learn our products and services

  • Can rally the team to quick and effective outcomes, has operated / led war-rooms

  • Has the ability to lead, influence and drive outcomes

  • Be an expert in program and project management methodology and processes

  • Be able to build successful relationships with cross-organizational leaders to achieve mutually successful results

  • Recognize changes in scope across multiple projects and can drive scope-versus-schedule/budget discussions to conclusion

  • Manage a program portfolio and balance resources among it

  • Recognize organizational or system-wide risks and create program risk management plans

  • Manage multiple projects effectively by defining schedules and goals based on Statements of Work (SOWs) and communicating directly with clients where needed

  • Maintain and update status reports for external clients and customers 

  • Partner and guide technical team members to accomplish project goals and objectives, ensuring execution of project tasks, and monitoring progress to completion

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the Unit 42 Consulting team’s skill sets

  • Partner with consulting leadership with any staffing needs for each project

  • Develop strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders for each project 

  • Partner with the Engagement Lead to ensure the projects adhere to budget and time frame guidelines 

  • Partner with Engagement Lead to look for opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen relationships 

  • Deliver Cyber uplift programs not just projects

  • Lead cyber transformation programs on behalf of clients, including the support of cyber security strategies to managing the execution of strategic maturity roadmaps  

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • 9+ years of professional experience in Project/Program Management, focusing in one or more of the following: transformative IT, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, or Software Defined Lifecycle (SDLC)/Infrastructure or other IT related technical environments

  • Ability to lead multiple large-scale projects creating project plans and ensuring on-time task execution and documentation 

  • Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritize projects, solve problems requiring meticulous attention to detail, multitask, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of our client organizations

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed 

  • Preferred:

  • 3+ years experience delivering a wide range of cybersecurity consulting services 

  • PMI Program Management (PgMP), PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent 

  • Strong proficiencies with Google Suite, Asana, and Clarizen 

  • Previous direct client/customer consulting experience
