We are currently looking for a Security Operations Centre Lead to join our team in Malaga!

 

Role Overview: Coordinate, oversee and guide the activities and work processes of a team responsible for overseeing and facilitating processes and resources to ensure effective resolution of IT incidents.  The local manager is the escalation point for unresolved incidents and will work closely with the manager to review, improve and implement incident management processes and projects to ensure optimal effectiveness and compliance with company standards. You will also be responsible for managing the local SOC team and liaising with the information security team on security incident management.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize, plan and coordinate team activities to ensure optimal team capacity and resource mobilization to resolve and prevent incidents and requests.
  • Oversee team activities and provide on-the-job guidance to ensure incident management activities and ad hoc work requests are aligned with team processes, risks and compliance requirements.
  • Perform the first stage escalation role at the relevant site for all major incidents and queries received from the business, ensuring closure and resolution within incident management SLAs.
  • In collaboration with the Director, monitor and report on incident management processes to meet SLAs and deliverables to the business.
  • Communicate SOC or Incident Management requirements to internal stakeholders relied upon to effectively perform incident management and SOC services.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field of study. 2-5 years in Security Operations, Cybersecurity or other relevant work experience.(Additional experience may be required in the absence of the preferred qualification / certification).
