Responsibilities

PeopleTec is seeking a Senior Offensive Cyber Analyst for an opportunty to support our Huntsville, AL location. 

 

PeopleTec is a company that hires and develops technology talent and puts them to work on client projects across the United States.  We specialize in full stack development, Cloud, DevSecOps, Cybersecurity, Offensive Cyber, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Intelligence (BI), Data Science, Machine Learning (ML) related initiatives, both in the federal and commercial space. We are currently seeking a Senior Offensive Cyber Analyst to support in our Huntsville, AL location.  The Senior Offensive Cyber Analyst serves as the person responsible for developing offensive cyber threat solutions and analysis regarding emerging cyber threat technology affecting the T&E community. This role involves analysis and coordination with the Intel Community and leading a small team of junior-mid level offensive cyber analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of junior to mid-level offensive cyber analysts
  • Research and analyze emerging cyber threat technology and methodologies
  • Lead and develop OCO tactics, techniques, and procedures for T&E test events
  • Lead and participate in cyber threat working groups for T&E stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a physical cyber lab at multiple classification levels
  • Research and develop prototypes to provide realistic threat representations for the T&E community. Specific to emerging technology to include electromagnetic spectrum TTP(s)
  • Brief DoD senior executives on emerging cyber threats affecting T&E assets
  • Develop use cases for emerging cyber technology and TTP(s) with a focus in multi-domain warfare
  • Support short suspense cyber threat request for information calls from DoD senior leadership and executives
  • Analyze finished intelligence from multiple sources within the IC community to provide recommendations and prototype test development on adversarial threat trends in cyber
  • Analyze cyber threat finished intelligence from the IC community to develop tailored threat briefings for the T&E community
  • Ensure all technical solutions adhere to DoD security and compliance regulations
  • Work with stakeholders to identify key metrics and opportunities for improving business processes, products, and services
  • Support commercial cyber penetration testing requirements on a as needed basis
  • Provide strategic cyber guidance for the organization

 

Qualifications

 

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience within the cyber field
  • Strong technical experience with penetration testing, red teaming or other offensive cyber skill sets
  • Strong technical experience and background in networking protocols, cyber OCO, and other cyber related fields
  • Moderate experience with Electronic Warfare(EW) Technology
  • Moderate experience performing intelligence analysis in the IC community
  • Extensive experience in understanding adversarial cyber threats, TTPs and mitigation tactics
  • A data-driven approach to problem solving and communications
  • Ability to balance urgency with sound decision making and careful execution
  • Ability to balance business and technical objectives when making decisions
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving, and analytical skills is a must
  • Have a positive, can-do, user-centered attitude
  • Travel: 10 %
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

 

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, computer engineering or related field
  • Minimum certification in: Security+, CISSP, or any IAT Level 2 certification
  • Minimum certification in one cyber practical certification: OSCP, PNPT, PJPT or other related certification

 

Desired Skills:

 

  • Ph.D in cyber security, computer science or any other cyber related field
  • Extensive experience analyzing cyber threat intelligence from the IC community
  • Strong understanding of cyber and electromagnetic spectrum technologies
  • Experience in T&E prototype solutions, specifically cyber, emerging technologies
  • Knowledge and experience developing cyber lab
  • Strong technical experience in computer networking and protocols
  • DoD Red Team operator experience
