Security Compliance Engineer.

Introduction
IBM is seeking a Security Compliance Engineer to join the PaaS Database Services Security and Compliance team. Working alongside a team of Security and Compliance Specialists the role will be focused on audit participation and maintaining continuous compliance of the Cloudant and IBM Cloud Databases services

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Evidence gathering for internal and external audits, working with internal audit team and external auditors
• Working closely with SRE and development teams to maintain continuous compliance of the Cloudant and IBM Cloud Databases services.
• Developing and updating Security Compliance processes and collateral in support of existing and new compliance programs.
• Working with compliance automation team on compliance automation requirements and testing new compliance automation features

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Familiarity with some of the listed Compliance Frameworks: PCI DSS, SOC 2, FedRAMP and NIST 800-53
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical background, with Information Security experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and prioritise effectively
• Attention to detail
• Ability to seek things out to learn what you do not already know
