We are looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Compliance Analyst for our Corporate Solutions North America business, based in Armonk, New York.
About the Role
This role is responsible for managing compliance risk and activities in support of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Americas Insurance Corporation North America and oversees compliance with applicable regulations including guidance on implementing Compliance policies, training and reporting. You will also support all aspects of executing the Compliance Mandate and the development and delivery of the Annual Compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide senior management with information about significant regulatory developments, industry compliance issues, emerging trends and regulatory risks
- Provide enabling guidance and technical expertise to the Business with respect to compliance requirements and implementation of the Compliance Program
- Design and conduct training on compliance matters within the Business Unit
- Assist in the monitoring and act upon regulatory developments relating to compliance risks and the associated regulatory obligations
- Support the Compliance Officer with reporting to the Group, Senior Management and Branch Management
- Perform regular compliance risk assessments
- Establish and maintain cross regional relationships with other team members, teams, functions, and Business Units.

Additional requirements include:
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- 3-5 years' experience in compliance, audit or risk management; preferably in insurance or financial services
- Knowledge and experience regarding regulation of insurance/reinsurance business is preferable
- Proficiency in using technology effectively in carrying out functional responsibilities
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Strong organization, prioritization, and detail orientation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
About the Team
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Solutions Americas Compliance team, whose other members are located in the US, Brazil and Mexico. We provide end-to-end guidance on key Compliance risks including AML, ITC, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Data Protection, Conduct Risk and others relating to Swiss Re Group's Corporate Solutions business. Our clients are diverse and driven business teams, committed to delivering value and innovative services. In our team, you will learn about the Compliance risks facing an international commercial insurance business.
For Armonk, NY the estimated base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $138,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
