Our global team has tremendous depth of knowledge and experience in areas as diverse as our clients’ security needs, with services that include (but are not limited to) threat and vulnerability assessments; security audits, master planning, and policy development; travel risk assessments; information security and TSCM services; executive protection services; private client services; security design and system planning, procurement, and implementation; business continuity and resilience services; and crisis management and emergency response. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate Managing Director will contribute to the growth of the Security Risk Management (SRM) practice by providing a suite of best-in-class services and solutions to our target companies. The candidate is expected to work independently within a team dynamic and, through commercial success, maximize earnings potential in the form of an attractive incentive plan. This position is acutely business development and the successful candidate will need a detailed understanding of the security and risk management industry, as well as possess demonstrated acumen in full-cycle business development. More specifically, our successful candidate will:
· Engage in self-driven business development to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. The focus is to acquire new clients and drive revenue through the sale of Kroll’s Security Risk Management products and solutions across a variety sectors.
· Build strong client relationships based on trust and confidence, and always ensure top quality service is delivered within the expected timeline and budget.
· Achieve annual revenue targets, as part of a more comprehensive base + commission-based compensation plan.
· Be a Salesforce power user to record meetings, activity, opportunities, and forecasting revenue.
· Develop territory plan to identify sales strategies, assess revenue potential, and outline targeted activities to maximize revenue opportunities.
· Demonstrate leadership by collaboratively engaging Kroll’s senior management team to lend support to business development objectives with influential individuals and high-level decision makers in the client base.
· Engage in telephone / email campaigns, and social media selling to secure client appointments, gather information on customer needs, position and prove out Kroll SRM’s products to solve customer business issues, overcome objections, and negotiate pricing and contracts.
· Demonstrate an understanding of Kroll Security Risk Management products, pricing, administrative procedures, and organization to effectively answer clients’ questions or implement solutions in a timely fashion.
· Always seek to develop, foster and amplify Kroll’s competitive advantage.
· Work closely in a team environment including research colleagues, technical and sales support to gain proficiency in presenting and proposing the whole range of Kroll Security Risk Management solutions, while managing future client expectations.
· Be a good steward of the Kroll brand and an ambassador for our solutions to trusted clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum of 15+ years of demonstrated relevant business development work experience selling professional services in a B2B environment, ideally in the Security industry or where professional services have formed the focus of the transaction.
· BS/BA or equivalent in Business or Marketing or relevant commercial experience.
· Executive-level written and verbal communication, a consultative/advisory approach, as well an ability to prioritize tasks through strong organizational and time management.
· Mastery level in Salesforce, MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
· Willingness to travel as needed for business development purposes, up to 40%, and showcase the power of the Kroll brand.
· Enthusiasm, passion and a commitment to mutually successful outcomes for the client and Kroll are a must.

The current salary range for this position is $200,000 to $500,000.
