What will you do? 

A day in the life of a Senior Security Platform Analyst at VF looks a little like this. 

 The Security Operations team is looking for a Senior Security Platform Analyst who will play a vital role in keeping the VF Global Enterprise safe from cyber-attacks. As the Security Platform Administrator, you will be part of a bigger machine working to protect the company from any malicious activity. This role requires you to work with others to strategize threat prevention, coordinate remediations, and contribute to process improvement.    

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. 

• Primary resource for supporting and managing security platforms deployed across the organization with a focus on SASE, Endpoint Protection, and Email Security  

• Responsible for the future state of all security platforms  

• Create and maintain all documentation for security platforms  

• Create and monitor dashboards within our security platforms to drive security posture improvements throughout the enterprise  

• Utilize telemetry from security platforms to proactively identify potential issues throughout the enterprise  

• Partner with Security Engineering to drive the adoption of SASE solution  

• Align end-user networking experience network regardless of location  

• Identify opportunities to reduce network hardware for SASE alternative  

• Collaborate with business to enforce DMARC compliance on all mail-sending domains  

• Ensure delivery of legitimate mail from VF’s mail-sending domains  

• Bolster VF’s brand reputation by preventing the spoofing of VF’s mail-sending domains   

• Administer the secure email gateway to prevent SPAM, Phishing, and Malware from entering the environment    

• Creation/maintenance of endpoint protection rules and policies   

• Recommend best practices and look for opportunities to improve processes while balancing operational and business risk  

• Document various processes and procedures to be performed by the SOC utilizing our various security platforms.  

• Participate in after-hours support as needed  

What do you need to succeed? 

• An associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related fields or commensurate hands-on experience  

• Cybersecurity or IT-related certifications (Security+, GSEC, CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), equivalent) are a plus 

The foundation skills you will need in this position are: 

• Knowledge of client and server operating systems (e.g., Windows, Mac, Linux)  

• Knowledge or experience with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) management (I.e., Cloud or On-prem)  

• Working experience and knowledge of Email Security protocols, including SMTP, SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), and DMARC  

• Strong emphasis on Microsoft security suite preferred  

• Subject matter expertise working with Antivirus Software, Host-based firewall, Full Disk Encryption, Application Whitelisting, File Integrity Monitoring  

• Subject matter expertise in managing Email Gateway solutions  

• Working experience with Knowledge of Email Security protocols including SMTP, SPF (Sender Policy Framework), DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), and DMARC  

• Working knowledge of EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) solutions and/or Zscaler a plus  

• Knowledge of Cloud Security Best Practices with a focus on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure 

• Location requirement: Greensboro, NC.
