Job Summary: The role of the Senior Information Security Analyst is to undertake activities to support delivery of security services to internal and external customers. These activities support delivery of security services that meet compliance requirements and minimize security risk. 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure security functions and processes are aligned with CTS standards and policies.
  • Assisting in and supporting the implementation of global security frameworks and associated tooling
  • Maintaining up to date of knowledge of threat trends and security risks.
  • Work as part of the global Security team to reduce program risk
  • Provide support to internal teams in management and mitigation of identified security risks
  • Provide input to management reporting as it applies to your areas of responsibility
  • Senior technical specialist for Vulnerability Management (VM) and security monitoring
  • Assist Global Process Owner with strategic direction to VM and SecOps analysts worldwide
  • Scheduling and executing internal and external vulnerability scans
  • Performing analysis of and identifying recommendations for discovered vulnerabilities
  • Performing analysis of and identifying recommendations for findings from internally and externally performed audits
  • Performing coordination and escalation of identified vulnerabilities
  • Maintaining up to date of knowledge of threat trends and security risks
  • Monitoring of and responding to security alerts generated by security monitoring technologies
  • Work as part of the global Security Operations Centre to reduce program risk
  • Assisting in periodic firewall rule reviews
  • Assisting in and supporting the implementation of global security frameworks and associated tooling
  • General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Comply with Cubic’s Quality Management System
  • Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
  • Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
  • Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
  • Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:
Qualifications

Essential:

  • University degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification; or significant professional experience

Desirable:

  • A university degree or equivalent in a numerate subject
  • A professional certificate, diploma or equivalent in information security

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

Essential:

  • Minimum five years’ experience in multiple security domains
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a relevant IT or similar environment
  • A sound knowledge of information security technologies and methodologies
  • Understanding of Information Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • Maintaining up to date of knowledge of security trends
  • Able to work as part of the global Security team to reduce program risk
  • Assisting in and supporting the implementation of global security frameworks
