Cybersecurity Consultant (Junior, Senior & Expert)

Job Description

We are looking for Junior, Senior & Expert Cybersecurity Consultants who will join a research institution in Luxembourg. As a key player in digital innovation, it supports critical cybersecurity projects to protect national and international technological infrastructures.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cybersecurity solutions tailored to the needs of the University.
• Assess IT systems for risks and vulnerabilities.
• Continuously monitor systems to identify and mitigate threats.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and implement quick solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and conduct audits to maintain the security of infrastructures.

Qualifications

Technical Skills (Hard Skills):

• Network Protocols: Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Network Configuration and Management: Experience configuring routers/switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Network Security Tools: Proficiency in technologies such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, and incident management.
• Network Design and Architecture: Expertise in secure network design, redundancy, and high availability.
• Application Security and Cryptography: Experience with encryption technologies, VPNs, VLANs.
• Compliance and Security Audits: Knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, etc.

Required Experience:

• Junior: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Senior: 3 to 6 years of experience.
• Expert: Over 7 years of experience in the field.

Mandatory Certifications:

• • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) are required for all levels.
  • Additional certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or CISM are highly recommended for senior and expert-level positions.
