We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement CJTF HOA/AFRICOM’s mission objectives.

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Cyber Security Analyst. (CSA) This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, CJTF-HOA located OCONUS in DJIBOUTI, Africa.  This position is required to travel OCONUS. 

Supervises and manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based. Optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis and planning. Provides assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.  The Cyber Security Analyst must possess a thorough understanding of all aspects of computer and network security, including such areas as firewall administration, encryption technologies and network protocols. Cyber Security Analysts need strong oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation. They should be able to multitask and work well under pressure. They must be able to investigate alerts, anomalies, error, intrusions, malware, ect. to identify the extent of a security incident and they must be able to help isolate the responsible agents.  It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry security trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations. They will possess a deep understanding of the DoD 8570.0 requirements and, Risk Management Framework processes. 

Typical duties include:   

  • Assists in incident response
  • Monitoring systems security and responding to security incidents
  • Participating in security systems testing
  • Ensuring integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data
  • Preventing and detecting intrusion
  • Supporting HBSS Services
  • Incident containment and remediation recommendations
  • Conducting log file analysis
  • Supporting ACAS scanning
  • Providing DISA STIG assessment
  • Maintain network scan results & conducting trend analysis
  • Conducting vulnerability management & remediation

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently hold a Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to acquire SCI if required.
  • Professional certification that meets or exceeds DoD 8570.01. IAM II (CISM or equivalent)
  • BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized cyber security experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • ITIL v3 - Foundation
  • Experience with Microsoft SCCM
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
  • Must have experience with SIEM, log analysis, vulnerability analysis, and some scripting experience.
  • Intel Security Certified Product Specialist – ePO, DLPe, ESN
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Experience with Bluecoat, McAfee HBSS, Splunk, CyberArk and Bitlocker, ACAS
  • Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
  • CISSP

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
