The IT Security Engineering Analyst

 

  • Oversees system analysis, design, development and testing for the assigned technical product(s) or application(s), within the context of an agile/DevOps delivery model. Supports change and innovation from a technical perspective and advocate new technologies within formal and informal networks.
  • Develops technology products and integrates new technology projects into the technical landscape.
  • Suggests improvements to systems and processes that improve efficiency and competitive posture of the company.
  • Evaluates vendor, service provider, and open-source code quality to ensure best-of-breed vendor and technology solutions.
  • Creates project/technical collateral for internal business partners and external service providers daily.
  • Documents solutions for business partners daily.
  • Advises project managers, disciplinary managers, and product owners on technical solutions and business processes daily.
  • Supports the creation of detail-level technical requirements and analyzes business requirements in collaboration with business analysts,
  • product leads, and other members of the DevOps teams.
  • Enables new applications and features that adhere to technical guidelines and business expectations in an Agile process.
  • Mentors entry-level engineers and performs peer reviews in furtherance of secure engineering and design-pattern implementation.
  • Implements robust test cases to ensure technical solutions meet expected outcomes and business objectives.
  • Creates and maintains automated deployment pipelines to maintain quality control and deployment agility.
  • Resolves escalated support topics as part of tier-3 DevOps role to ensure the highest availability of critical applications
  • Plans and execute upgrades of existing applications, tools, and features 
  • Creates solutions and solves problems using a cloud-native toolchain, to ensure world-class uptime and business agility.
  • Plans work-effort as part of Agile projects, supporting or even leading ceremonies.
  • Advocates for customer-centric systems that are well-designed with a view toward excellent customer-experience, and clear business requirements
  • Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
  • Performs other duties assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or the equivalent of 4 years of experience in the management of information technology application development, maintenance and support.
  • 3+ years of demonstrated success in IT.
  • 2+ years in an entry-level engineering role. 1
  • 1+ years specializing in IT Security Engineering.
  • 1+ years working in Agile projects.
  • 1+ years building systems based on AngularJS, Rest API technology and other frame works using Scrum Agile methodology and Continuous Delivery.
  • 1+ years with one or more of the following:
  1. Certificate Management/PKI technologies2.
  2. Operating and configuring an internal Certificate Authority, a HSM, and certificate lifecycle management system, S/MIME, SSL/TLS and personal and device authentication certificate
  3. Designing, implementing and operating enterprise scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems based on ForgeRock IDM and ForgeRock DS products and other standard software, implement processes for account reconciliation and user password management, integrating and supporting IAM systems based on the following Cybersecurity and IAM technologies: LDAP directories, Active Directory, OAuth, OIDC, SAML.
