Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor security information and event management tools.
• Oversee log forwarding to ensure efficient, secure data flow.
• Work on data stream optimization and processing.
• Maintain secure and consistent run-time configurations across systems.
• Work within cloud infrastructure to ensure security best practices in cloud environments.
• Write scripts for Linux and Windows environments to automate routine tasks and streamline workflows.
• Create clear, concise documentation for tools, processes, and configurations to support team knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in managing and monitoring SIEM tools, using Google Chronicle as a preferred tool or Splunk or Elastic
• Hands-on experience with NXlog, Vector, and Syslog for log forwarding to ensure efficient and secure data flow.
• Familiarity with Cribl and Kafka for optimizing and processing data streams.
• Solid in using Ansible, Chef, or Rundeck to maintain secure and consistent run-time configurations across various systems.
• Practical experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments, with a strong understanding of security best practices for these platforms.
• Proficient in Bash or PowerShell scripting for Linux or Windows environments to automate processes.
• Strong ability to create clear, concise documentation for tools, processes, and configurations to support team knowledge and continuity.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for effective team communication and documentation.
