We have an opening for a full-time, permanent Chief Enterprise Security Architect to join our talented, dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer.

The Chief Enterprise Security Architect will support the Department of Veterans Affairs by providing technical and programmatic support services to include development, maintenance, enterprise architecture, and administrative engineering support.
Duties
As a Chief Enterprise Security Architect supporting Maveris programs, you will be trusted to lead the delivery of a Federal Agency’s Enterprise Security Architecture and Strategy. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Lead and coordinate all technical efforts to ensure a consistent approach and quality of products and services are delivered across the enterprise related to Enterprise Security Architecture.
- Provide thought leadership for new techniques and design patterns related to Enterprise Security Architecture.
- Ensure that the Enterprise Security Architecture, framework, and strategy across the enterprise remains consistent with and supports the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and other federal mandates.
- Produce the required deliverables including but not limited to reports, status updates, plans, diagrams, playbooks, documents, roadmaps, packages, training materials, and briefings following the contractual requirements.
- Manage system security architecture analysis during design reviews and through the conceptual design lifecycle.
- Drive Enterprise Architecture strategy across the enterprise through various channels of collaboration.
- Work closely with the Government technical lead and partners on mobile devices to ensure organization strategies are met while ensuring mobile solutions adhere to secure architecture requirements.
- Guide the advancement of development in legacy and new health IT digital architectures including cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, VR/XR, 5G, PQC, and AI technologies.
- Assist the Government with defining and developing Enterprise Security Architecture metrics to measure the program's effectiveness and ensure visibility on the existing metrics dashboard.
- Create diagrams and documentation of IT security architecture with all components that comprise IT systems including network topology.
- Perform risk management and mitigation across all program projects to include identifying inherent risk associated with architecture and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Perform analysis, and research on complex problems and identify innovative technologies and ways forward.
- Lead the coordinate with program and project leaders across the enterprise to analyze system architectures.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System Architecture, Telecommunication System Design, Architecture Implementation, information System integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, or Network System Communications Management
- 10 years of relevant experience
- A minimum of 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Expert with design and development of IT architecture to include creating diagrams and documentation with all components that comprise IT systems to include network topology
- Knowledge and experience with IT digital architectures to include but not limited to cloud, mobile, IoT, APIs, VR/XR, 5G, PQC and AI technologies
- Expert understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
