The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring that the network, systems, and help desk teams run efficiently and securely. Key responsibilities include working alongside, leading and mentoring the IT team, developing and enforcing IT policies and procedures, and overseeing IT projects such as deploying new technologies and upgrading existing systems. The IT Manager will also manage system maintenance, troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, and ensure quick resolutions. Additionally, they will oversee the implementation of cloud-based services, network security, and data protection strategies.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and leadership skills. A solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity best practices is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to deliver customized IT solutions. The IT Manager will ensure that technology projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
The position requires at least 5 years of experience in IT management or a related field, along with a proven track record of leading successful technology initiatives. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL, are highly desirable. Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus. A valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record and Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance are required.
The role involves up to 50% travel across Arizona and occasional travel to Colorado. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, remain stationary for extended periods, and move throughout the office as needed. The IT Manager will work in a fast-paced environment utilizing various tools such as Microsoft 365, CrowdStrike, and Cisco Meraki.
