We are seeking a dynamic and experienced hands-on IT Security Team Leader to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be fearless in tackling challenges, have a proven track record of finding the right solutions, and possess extensive experience with the zero-trust security model.
As the IT-Security Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of security professionals, driving the implementation of security initiatives, and ensuring the protection of our organization's digital assets.
You must have an A-Z mindset: identifying the right solution, building a secure architecture, implementing it effectively, and then continuously optimizing.

- Lead and manage the IT security team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, with a strong emphasis on the zero-trust model.
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analyses to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of security tools and technologies. With a “push everything to the edge” mindset
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure security policies are understood and adhered to across the organization.
- Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance security posture.
- Respond to security incidents, leading investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and education within the organization.
- Identify the right security solutions, design and build secure architectures, and implement them from start to finish.
- Hands-on deployment, management, configuration, optimization, and maintenance.
- Maintain and improve security policies and measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information security systems continuously
- On-going maintenance of corporate security products in the organization, Leveraging our security tools and protocols and always looking to improve (edited)
- Responsibility for high standard policy, control & health of our security systems like DLP, EDR, Mail relay, OKTA, ZTNA, Least privilege\, etc.
- Escalation contact for cyber security sophisticated security incidents
- Find cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems
- Develop best practices and IT security standards for the organization
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with the zero trust security model.
- Proficient in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Security certifications – CISSP, CISA, CISM -advantage.
- English at a high level.
- The position requires being on-call
