What you'll be doing

You will work with CIBC’s Cyber, Third Party & Resilience Project Management Office (CTPR PMO).  As the Governance Lead, you will be working within the Project Control team, and reporting to the Senior Director, CTPR Portfolio & Project Management Office.  You will act as quality assurance and be responsible for monitoring key project control procedures and policies, leading a team of Project Coordinators, who are assigned across multiple projects

How you'll succeed

  • Governance Lead: You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team. You will ensure that project teams adhere to CTPR PMO and Enterprise PMO governance requirements, using standardized processes, best practices, and tools. You will maintain a centralized project management governance and change management structure to support consist practices across projects. You will prepare governance-related status reports and presentations for senior management, business and technology partners, and other stakeholders.  

  • Governance Analysis & Reporting:  You will keep up to date on all Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) governance communications, using this information to provide guidance to the overall PMO team, regarding processes, training and reporting requirements.  You will be an expert in Planview and SharePoint, and provide guidance to project teams on a regular basis. 

  • Support the CTPR PMO Senior Director:  You will support the CTPR PMO Senior Director with day-to-day administrative functions. You will be a problem solver with a focus on improving quality, supporting key performance indicator reporting and dashboards, and delivering high quality metrics. You have excellent oral and written communication skills and good time management skills.
