Background:

Dionach are a dynamic information security partner with ambitious growth targets to generate new business in Governance, Risk and Compliance. We require a client relationship manager to take ownership of all new business won via this channel to ensure our services are delivered to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations, whilst developing successful strategic client relationships.

Role Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Strategic Client Relationship Manager to join our team. The primary aim of the role is to successfully onboard new clients by ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales through to initial project delivery and to develop long-term strategic relationships with these clients. This role requires a blend of project management and client relationship management skills. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strength in both key areas.

Ideally the candidate will have a background in cyber security or have suitable industry experience and be to demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental cybersecurity principles and eagerness to learn quickly as they develop within the role.

The role requires candidates to be comfortable working at pace, in an agile fashion to hit stretching deadlines to meet our customer’s needs

Requirements

Responsibilities

The relationship manager will be responsible for:

Relationship Management

  • On-boarding new clients, ensuring an industry leading client experience.
  • Leading and attending implementation meetings/workshops (e.g. contract initiation meetings, scoping calls, contract performance reviews).
  • Ensuring Dionach is delivering services to meet/exceed agreed contractual SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Being the client’s primary point of contact and the figurehead for strategic relationships.
  • Developing successful strategic client relationships from the point of contract award onwards.
  • Understanding and addressing customer needs.
  • Obtaining and acting upon CSAT feedback and lessons learned.
  • Using CRM tools to capture and analyse client data to effectively plan and develop strategic client relationships.

Project Management

·       Project managing the implementation of contracted work

·       Effectively communicating project expectations to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.

·       Develop detailed project plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

·       Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.

Internal Relationships

The relationship manager will report to the Bid Manager within the Technical solutions and Innovations Team and will be engaged with the bid team throughout the tendering and bid production process to gain a thorough understanding of the client’s requirements and the pipeline of work. Key responsibilities in this area also include:

  • Providing regular management updates and performance reports for all Strategic relationships.
  • Engaging with the Scoping Team to fully understand the scope or works, pre-requisites and key dependencies required for each job.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with the Project Delivery team to ensure work is planned and implemented on time, within budget and to specification in line with contractual obligations.

Experience

  • Strong track record in Strategic Relationship management and/or Project Management experience ideally in the cyber security domain

Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Self-starter able to take full ownership of contracts from the point of award
  • Comfortable working at pace in an agile fashion to meet constantly changing client needs
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of and/or an appetite to learn cybersecurity concepts, tools, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good understanding of Project Management concepts and methodologies

Gross salary: £32k - £35k per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
