Job Description:

Information Security Problem Manager – Information Security Analyst (AVP)

Deutsche Bank is looking for an Information Security Specialist to manage Information Security Problem remediation. The chosen candidate will work within Deutsche Bank’s global Information Security Problem Management team in the Chief Security Office, Information Security Threat Operations, Innovation & Transformation.

This will require someone with a strong work ethic, technical IT background, a passion for cyber security as well as analytical skills. As a Security Problem Manager, you will pick up Security Problems identified during Security Incidents, Red-Team Exercises and other sources. You conduct root causes analysis and drive their remediation in close collaboration with various stakeholders across Chief Security Office, Technology, Data & Information and Business functions. You will conduct Lessons Learned as part of the Post Incident Activity process to contribute to the continues improvement of the Security Incident Management process.

Experience / Requirements:

  • Experience in technical or operational related information security roles for a minimum of 3 years, for example in:
    • Security Incident response in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
    • Network security (Web Gateways, Proxies, Firewalls, e-mail security etc.)
    • Cloud security (Google Cloud / Cloud Amor, Microsoft Entra/Azure etc.)
    • Microsoft security (Microsoft Defender, Active Directory, Windows Clients and -Servers)
    • Application security (asset penetration testing, vulnerability scanning etc.)
    • Information security risk management (compliance and risk assessments, audit coordination)
    • IT Incident, IT Problem Management or IT Lessons Learned process
  • Knowledge in latest cyber threats, security trends and their effect on large corporate technology environments
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills

Character/Professionalism:

  • Should be able to handle multiple tasks with careful attention to details
  • Must be capable of working under pressure and with multiple teams across the globe/time zones
  • Ability to work proactively and dynamically
  • Effective problem solving skills to quickly narrow down to problems
  • Good team player, but also strong character to enforce the resolution of discovered IT Security issues

Certifications:

  • University degree in Information Technology, Information Security or comparable
  • SANS (GIAC), Microsoft Security or Google Security certification are a plus.
