Job Description

As the Software Development Manager in the cyber data team; you will play a crucial role in the development; management; and optimisation of cyber software solutions to strengthen our security defences. You will lead a team of software developers; guide technical decisions and ensure the timely delivery of reliable software products covering both backend and frontend solutions required for cyber data platform integrations and wider security applications.

Qualifications

Experience managing software engineers; leading teams and managing software projects at scale
Experience leading software development programmes
Demonstrated experience in designing; developing and running highly-scalable distributed systems
Solid understanding of architectural patterns including coding stands; code reviews; source code control and CI/CDs
Solid experience with programming languages like Java and proficiency in SQL
Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g.; Azure; GCP)
Hiring; developing; and retaining cyber software engineering talent
Ability to provide clear input; guide; empower the team to achieve desired outcomes
Developing working relationships with various teams and at all levels of seniority to communicate cyber software products designs; technical implementations and features
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
