Our global team has tremendous depth of knowledge and experience in areas as diverse as our clients’ security needs, with services that include (but are not limited to) threat and vulnerability assessments; security audits, master planning, and policy development; travel risk assessments; information security and TSCM services; executive protection services; private client services; security design and system planning, procurement, and implementation; business continuity and resilience services; and crisis management and emergency response. RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Managing Director you will play a strategic role in driving forward the expansion of Kroll’s Security Risk Management (SRM) offering by combining the latest technology with proven strategies to deliver Operational and Physical Security consulting services worldwide.
Responsibilities will also include identifying potential clients, negotiating and reviewing engagement contracts, drafting and reviewing proposals, managing pipeline, speaking as a subject matter expert and drafting thought leadership products.
Above all, you must have a demonstrated acumen and passion for this industry, remain educated in the latest best practices and technological advancements, be flexible, and possess both the hard and soft skills necessary to thrive on Kroll’s industry leading Security Risk Management team. Additional responsibilities will be as follows:
· Contribute to the growth of the Security Risk Management (SRM) practice as an expert practitioner, business development contributor and client-focused relationship manager.
· · Deliver best in class support to Kroll’s global client base and new clients alike.
· · Engage in self-driven business development to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. The focus is to acquire new clients and drive revenue through the sale of Kroll’s Security Risk Management products and solutions across a variety sectors.
· Development and management of security projects across the region throughout the lifecycle of the engagement. This includes engaging with potential clients to explore their needs, preparing requisite proposal documentation, managing the relationship throughout the negotiation period, development of working plans and budgets, allocation of resources, direction of project team members, delivery and quality assurance and project invoicing.
· Building strong client relationships based in trust and confidence, and always ensuring top quality service is delivered within the expected timeline and budget.
· Demonstrate leadership by collaboratively engaging Kroll’s senior management team to lend support to business development objectives with influential individuals and high-level decision makers in the client base.
· Identify sub-contractor subject matter experts when needed as the market changes, closely vet and screen their bona fides ensuring they are up to Kroll standards.
· Engage regularly with sub-contractor partners for the delivery of projects on time, on budget and focusing on margin maximization.
· Focusing on expansion and growth of the SRM Practice as market influences change.
· Work effectively as part of a very collaborative global team to achieve the goals of the wider Security Risk Management Practice and Kroll as a firm.
· Collaborate with practitioners spanning all of Kroll on cross-functional projects and collaborative business development efforts.
· Represent Kroll in speaking engagements, conventions, industry events and media exposures as applicable.
· Mentor and develop staff to ensure the execution of client objectives and deliverables.
· Contribute to the professional development and evaluation of junior project team members,
· Demonstrate excellent judgment, be commercially-focused and be driven by professional excellence and a commitment to the Kroll brand.
· · Work closely in a team environment including research colleagues, technical and sales support to gain proficiency in presenting and proposing the whole range of Kroll Security Risk Management solutions, while managing future client expectations.
· · Be a good steward of the Kroll brand and an ambassador for our solutions to trusted clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
· - 15+ years of professional service leadership including leadership expertise in the areas of project management, security-related digital products and services, security consulting, travel security and/or other security and threat mitigation functions.
· - Proven experience in delivering hands-on, high-quality consulting services to clients.
· - Knowledge of current security trends and applicable industry technologies
· - Demonstrate exemplary written and oral communication skills. Professional-level writing samples will likely be requested for candidates progressing through the application process.
· - Demonstrated success working with C-Level executives.
· - Experienced in proposal preparation, review and execution.
· - Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to establish trust and credibility across the organization.
· - Strong ability to influence across multiple business lines.
· - Must be flexible, enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
· - Must be able to think independently and make sound decisions.
· - Must be highly fluent in MS office products, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management.
· - Be a Salesforce power user to record meetings, activity, opportunities, and forecast revenue.
· - Willingness to travel up to 50%.
· - CPP preferred and will be required within first year of employment.
· - Professional certification and experience in Threat Management preferred.
· - BA/BS required, advanced degree preferred, specifically seeking those with Master’s-level business credentials or applicable work history.

The current salary range for this position is $200,000 to $500,000.
