Summary of This Role

Analyzes threat information from multiple sources, disciplines, agencies, and data aggregators. Synthesizes and places intelligence information in context of potential applicability to TSYS; draws insights about the possible implications. Identifies and assesses the capabilities and activities of cybersecurity actors. Produces findings and develops multiple threat intelligence products to convey relevant data to various audiences. Reporting and collaborating with the different areas of Business will be required, as well as providing relevant lesson learned output that can be fed into the Company’s threat landscape.

What Part Will You Play?

  • Utilizes information and assessments for the purposes of informing leadership and customers; developing and refining objectives; supporting operation planning and execution; and assessing the effects of operations on TSYS interests. References cyber operations intelligence and/or indications and warnings intelligence products (e.g., threat assessments, briefings, intelligence studies, country studies).
  • Lead the process of coordination, validation, and management of all-source threat intelligence collection requirements, plans, and/or activities. Lead the identification of intelligence collection shortfalls. Utilize threat tactics, and methodologies based upon evaluation of threat intel sources.
  • Interprets and recommends action associated with imminent or hostile intentions or activities which may impact TSYS objectives, resources, or capabilities. Interprets and recommends action associated with intelligence-derived significant network events and intrusions. Coaches and mentors junior members providing threat-related support during incident response operations to more effectively diagnose anomalous activity.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Concentration in information security, networking or development / computer science
  • Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp
  • Experience within Information Technology (networking, development, or systems). Experience managing projects. Additional 4 years related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Certified Cyber Threat Analyst (CCTA), SANS.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant Exp
  • Experience within Information Technology (networking, development, or systems). Experience managing projects.
  • One or more of the following: CCTA, SANS, CISSP

  • Ability to develop or recommend analytic approaches or solutions to problems and situations for which information is incomplete or for which no precedent exists. - Skill in evaluating information for reliability, validity, and relevance, Skill in conducting non-attributable research, Skill in identifying critical target elements, to include critical target elements for the TSYS cyber domain
  • Ability to accurately and completely source all data used in intelligence, assessment and/or planning products - Skill in conducting research using deep web techniques, Skill in defining and characterizing all pertinent aspects of the operational environment
  • Ability to communicate complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means - Skill in providing understanding of target or threat systems through the identification and link analysis of physical, functional, or behavioral relationships.
