Responsibilities

We are hiring a DevSecOps Automation Engineer in Omaha, Nebraska.

 

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline deployment pipelines.
  • Design and develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using python, Kubernetes, and ansible.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD processes using GitLab, Jenkins, and other standard DevSecOps tools to ensure smooth code development, integration and delivery.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle, including compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Research and implement new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement in the software delivery process.
  •  Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow team members and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and the architecture of deployed solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress and challenges
  • Design and develop systems to automate repetitive tasks, improving productivity and efficiency
  • Address technological flaws, defects or errors; Troubleshoot issues as errors occurs; Enhance the efficiency of a human staff or other system
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand the needs and requirements
  • Simulate and test the system to make sure that it's functioning properly
  • Implement and enforce monitoring and quality assurance processes
  • Supervise the automation processes regularly
  • Troubleshoot issues as errors occurs
  •  Understand computer programming and software development
  •  Mentor and coach teammates.
  • Use Agile development methodologies
  • Expert use of automation tools such as Python, Powershell, Terraform, Ansible.
  • Collaboratively interact with customers including senior management, data scientists, and end users.

Qualifications

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA or 9 years of applicable experience in lieu of degree.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
