About The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Cybersecurity Intern to assist our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in managing user roles, access permissions, and authentication protocols, contributing to the safeguarding of sensitive data. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to develop an understanding of security best practices and enhance technical and problem-solving skills within a professional IT security environment. You will have guidance from a mentor, as well as be included in Menasha Corporation’s Intern Program, which focuses on connection, experience building, and professional development.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation and management of IAM solutions.
Monitor and analyze access logs to detect and respond to unauthorized access attempts.
Help develop and enforce security policies and procedures related to IAM.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation actions.
Support the IAM team in regular audits and compliance checks.
Assist in educating employees about IAM best practices and security awareness.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Understanding of IAM concepts, including user authentication, authorization, and access control.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and encryption.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security practices.
