Summary/Objective
This position will play a pivotal role in modernizing our IT infrastructure and ensuring the security of our systems. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, security protocols, and the unique needs of a cloud-based application.
Essential Functions
- Leads the assessment and planning of our migration strategy to Azure cloud.
- Designs and implements scalable and cost-effective cloud architectures.
- Oversees the execution of the migration plan, including data transfer, application reconfiguration, and validation.
- Collaborates with internal teams and partners to ensure a smooth transition and provides training on cloud operations.
- Develops and implements a comprehensive security strategy tailored to our cloud infrastructure and business requirements.
- Conducts risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities within our systems and processes.
- Designs and enforces security policies, including data protection, access control, and incident response.
- Stays updated on the latest security threats and industry best practices to enhance our security posture continuously.
- Ensures that our infrastructure and applications meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Collaborates with development teams to align technology solutions with business goals and user needs.
- Works closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and compliance, to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Provides expert guidance and mentorship to internal teams on cloud and security best practices.
- Prepares and presents reports to senior management on the status of cloud migration, security initiatives, and application readiness.

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus, but not required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security, with a strong focus on cloud migration and security programs. Experience in supporting cloud applications is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading an infrastructure and security team.
- Experience with DevOps and SDL.
- Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Bilingual is a plus.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, protocols, and technologies (e.g., encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
- Proven experience with performance optimization, scalability, and high-availability solutions.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations relevant to PCI-DSS or GDPR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement complex solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership and project management abilities, with a track record of successful project execution.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments at once, multi-task across projects, and effectively prioritize each.
- Highly focused on process development and adherence.
- Ability to see potential issues and risks before they snowball and implement an appropriate mitigation plan.
- Detailed knowledge of O365 capabilities and configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of server and PC hardware.
- Experience supporting multiple locations.

- Employee may be required to drive a vehicle while on Company business, maintain a good driving record and be insurable under Company vehicle insurance.
- This position may also require reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Travel
- This position may require up to 40 percent out of area and overnight travel.
- Travel is based in the US and Canada and may require multiple night stays and weekends.
