About the Engineering team
The Claroty Engineering (R&D) Department is a group of talented engineers with specialties including BE, FE, DevOps, QA, and automation. They come from a variety of backgrounds and organizations and have strong experience and skills in software development and cybersecurity.
We are solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the industry today—anything from OS-level in-depth activity, networking traffic analysis, big-data analysis, multi-tenancy architecture, limited resources design and implementation to cope with high-performance requirements and sophisticated UX concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop a platform application for industry-leading Claroty products.
- Design and implement infrastructures and backend tools to be used across Claroty systems
- Develop APIs for various uses.
- Tailor-made unique solutions to meet strict industry requirements and field limitations
- Package our on-premise OS (Linux-based)
- Own and guide the software artifacts distribution and installation procedures and infrastructure.
- Develop and design the application services orchestration backbone
- Own the OS Security and Hardening perspectives
Requirements
- Significant experience in Python (2+ years)
- Strong Linux fundamentals - OS, system services, and configurations (2+ years)
- Experience designing, building, and working with containers (like Docker)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in various domains (system, network, application)
- Knowledge of network concepts
- Excellent communication skills, team player with independent problem-solving capabilities
Advantage:
- Advanced Linux knowledge, such as initialization and virtualization
- Experience in software packaging (deb, python)
- Experience working with large-scale systems
- Experience working with on-prem systems
