We’re growing and looking to hire Protocols Researcher and Developer who embodies our core values: People First, Customer Obsession, Strive for Excellence, and Integrity.

You will be part of the Asset Discovery Team in the Visibility group. The team is fully responsible for developing and maintaining Claroty’s asset discovery platform, which is used across all company products. This platform consists of highly advanced network protocol and file analysis logic to achieve the best asset discovery capabilities on the market. We are looking for individuals who are highly motivated as well as passionate about research and overcoming challenges and unfamiliar obstacles to join our team.

About the Engineering team 

The Claroty Engineering (R&D) Department is a group of talented engineers with specialties including BE, FE, DevOps, QA and automation, who come from a variety of backgrounds and organizations with strong experience and skills in software development and cybersecurity.

Our engineers use the most state-of-the-art technologies available to build our products – from Kafka to K8s, Spark and latest React/Angular, AWS lambdas & Argo workflows and many others – ensuring the fastest and highest-quality delivery to our customers.

We are solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the industry today – anything from OS level in-depth activity, networking traffic analysis, big-data analysis, multi-tenancy architecture and limited resources design and implementation to cope with high performance requirements, and sophisticated UX concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop production-grade code in Python and C++ that analyzes network traffic and file formats in real time.
  • Research and analyze proprietary network protocols and file formats.
  • Be part of a hands-on team with end-to-end responsibilities and an active and central impact on the company and its customers.
  • Innovate new methods for active asset querying and discovery.
  • Utilize our state-of-the-art OT lab for research and development activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with Python development.
  • Familiarity with C++.
  • Experience in protocol analysis or reverse engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and networking.
  • Familiarity with reverse engineering tools (static and dynamic).
  • Experience with a wide variety of technological disciplines - Advantage.
  • Knowledge of OT and Industrial networks or devices - Advantage.
  • Experience with malware analysis/vulnerability research - Advantage.
  • Fluency in English for effective communications with customer engineers - Advantage.
