XTIVIA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Administrator and Technical Manager to join our growing team. This role is critical in supporting our innovative solutions and ensuring the reliability and security of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering exceptional IT support across the entire organization.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our IT infrastructure, including remote offices, servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- System Administration: Design, implement, and maintain robust systems and security solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions, minimizing system downtime.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Security: Ensure system security through access controls, backups, firewalls, and other security measures.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Technology Adoption: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for operational procedures and support.
- Auditing: Participate in organizations SOC, SSAE, SOX and other security or process audits as needed
Requirements
What you bring to your new team
- 10+ years of experience in system administration.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Windows/MacOS operating systems.
- Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies (Virtualbox, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong experience with documentation including corporate policies
- Experience with security, hardening, auditing of IT infrastructure
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, Wireless, VOIP,
- VPN, VLAN).
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Experience with SOX, SOC and SSAE audits
- Experience with FreeIPA, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), G Suite/Google Apps.

- General familiarity with website administration
- Basic understanding of hardware systems lifecycle (procurement, configuration ,disposal)

This position has an expected salary range of $100,000 - $115,000 annually.
You will also be eligible for the XTIVIA employee bonus plan.
