Join our ICON team responsible for maintaining the operational status of the National Security Innovation Network. You will be assisting to accelerate early stage technologies, support technology transfer and solve unique Government problems. ICON team members act as partners with the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and other Government agencies to serve in the defense of National Security. operations.
The Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer manages designing, developing, documenting, testing, debugging, and maintaining hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities. They ensure compliance of software standards with security concepts and networks. They communicate status with leadership and customers. They ensure software standards are applied consistently. The Computer Network Operations (CNO) Developer is a senior position and supervises and mentors subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff. The CNO Developer IV takes direction from more senior personnel. They collaborate with other CNO Developer IVs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage designing, developing, documenting, testing, debugging, and maintaining hardware- or software-based CNO capabilities.
- Ensure compliance of Software Standards
- Communicate Status’ with Leadership and Customers
- Supervise and mentor subordinates.
- Collaborate with other leaders
- Maintain strong attention to detail.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work as a member of a cohesive team as well as independently.
- Interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful way.
- Multi-task efficiently and work in a fast pace environment on multiple projects.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Here's What You'll Need:
Clearance Required:
- Active TS-SCI with Poly
Minimum Education:
- Bachelors degree in an IT related field
Minimum Years of Experience:
- At least 12 years demonstrated experience developing, researching, designing, implement, testing, and evaluating software and systems.
Preferred:
- Prior experience as a Senior Software Developer Lead
- DoD 8570 Fully Compliant with formal Computing Environment certification (i.e. CCNA, CCNP, VCP-CTA, VCP-DCV, VCP-NX, Microsoft, Linux, ect.)
- Demonstrated skills and expertise in the following technologies: SQL/XSQL Server Administrator (SA), Microsoft O/S and security, Information Assurance (IA), IP Data Networking and Vulnerability Assessment product engineering and design, IP network vulnerability scanner Tier 3 support, REM 3.X / Retina 5.X and greater, ACAS Security Center 4.X / Nessus 5.X or greater and HP Tenable Nessus products
- Currently active process improvement certification (e.g., Certified CMMI Associate, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above, PMI PMP, ITIL, etc.)

The base salary range for this position is $277 to $298K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
