Binary Defense (BD) is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Marketing with extensive experience in Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), and Managed Security Services. The ideal candidate will drive our marketing strategy, elevate our brand presence, and position us as a leader in the cybersecurity landscape. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the security market and a proven track record in executing successful marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals and enhances our market position in XDR, MDR, and Managed Security Services.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, using insights to inform marketing tactics and product development.
• Brand Development: Oversee the development and execution of brand messaging, positioning, and awareness campaigns to strengthen our identity in the cybersecurity sector.
• Content Strategy: Create and manage a content marketing strategy that includes white papers, case studies, blogs, webinars, and other thought leadership materials to establish authority and drive engagement.
• Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns, to increase online visibility and lead generation.
• Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales tools, collateral, and training programs that empower them to communicate our value proposition effectively.
• Partnership Development: Cultivate and manage relationships with key industry partners, analysts, and media to enhance our market presence and drive strategic collaborations.
• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and metrics to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed based on performance data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a focus on cybersecurity, XDR, MDR, or Managed Security Services.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
• Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, customer pain points, and competitive dynamics.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
• Experience with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
