Summary


We are seeking an IT Security Consultant with a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Technologies, and ideally has experience in an IT operations or governance department or program. You will be part of a highly motivated team dedicated to aligning, stabilizing, standardizing, and automating SAP's end-to-end corporate Tools, Processes, and internal control system company-wide.
 

What you'll do


In this role, you will have a strategic and essential role in:


-    Mentoring and supervising junior staff members to enhance their skills and support their professional development.
-    Guiding IT teams within the Lines of Business (LoBs) to understand and fully implement security requirements, ensuring comprehensive compliance across their environments.
-    Leading close collaboration with relevant teams in the SAP Identity and Access Management space.
-    Driving the continuous improvement of SAP's corporate Identity and Access Management landscapes.
-    Developing and maintaining SAP's Corporate Identity and Access Management Strategy, in partnership with other senior staff members.
-    Identifying, documenting, and mitigating technical-level Identity and Access Management-related risks.
-    Creating, owning, and maintaining security documentation such as best practices, process descriptions or security standards in the area of Identity and Access Management.
-    Ensuring the business is well-equipped to adopt modern working methods such as modern authentication, Zero Trust, and cloud computing.


What you bring 


-    Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, business informatics, or equivalent qualification.
-    At least 8 years of professional experience in a technical Identity and Access Management (IAM) or IT Security role,
-    Technical expertise in at least one area of Identity and Access Management technology such as Identity Governance and Administration, Access Management & Identity Federation, Privileged Access Management, or Customer Identity and Access Management.
-    Advanced security architecture skills in multiple security architecture domains
-    Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both technical IT staff and executive stakeholders.
-    Strong analytical thinking and the ability to analyze complex challenges and formulate robust solution proposals.
-    Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and facilitate effective teamwork and collaboration 
-    Good understanding of standards and best practices such as ISO 27001, SOX or C5 is a plus.
-    Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or relevant SANS certifications are highly preferred.

The CPIT Security Team acts as cross-functional unit for all Delivery and Operation units in CPIT to provide IT Security guidance and services in close alignment with SAP Global Security & Cloud Compliance organization.
