Our SAP Collins Security team is currently seeking an SAP Security Manager/ Administrator with in-depth experience for technical aspects with user, role, and table maintenance. This position will be responsible for security administration within SAP including security access and compliance for the organization. In addition, this role will work, within a team and with application owners, develop and support security priorities, create and maintain standards and procedures, and provide expertise in SAP Security.

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • You will interface with the business to analyze business processes, workflows, policies, tables, objects, packages, data elements, programs, transactions etc. related to the solution.

  • You will develop, document, maintain, and update the security controls with a focus on User and Role administration-related controls and procedures.

  • You will support application security tasks covering aspects of role design, creation, testing, and implementation of SAP Security roles through project and production support work.

  • You will support audit requirements that may impact security and work with business areas and project teams to develop security solutions that address these requirements including documentation and enforcement of the RTX Policies and SOX Framework.

  • You will gain expertise in leading multiple SAP projects and providing guidance in SAP Security.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP access design and build (including single and composite roles), data migration, administration, and implementation.

  • Strong understanding of SAP Authorization concepts

  • Must be willing and able to travel 5% to 10% of the time

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of SAP security architecture and role-based authorization models within SAP system landscapes including ECC, BW/BI, GRC, GTS, APO, Solution Manager, S/4 HANA, BOBJ, Portal, PI and SRM and other related SAP applications.

  • High level communication skills, verbal and written.

  • MS Application Suite (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • An understanding of key Government requirements around the ITAR, EAR & DFARS

  • Knowledge and experience with Identity and Access Management Principles

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
