This is your chance to join our Retail Technology – Customer Engagement and Communications Crew, who are some of the smartest engineers in Australia.   We’re now expanding this awesome team and looking for a Software Engineer who’s experienced with DevSecOps. 

You’ll be working across multiple platforms, including our customer rewards program CommBank Yello (one of Australia’s largest customer recognitions programs), enhancing our customer communications across the group, supporting our automation and efficiency within engineering.    

If your excited by tackling intellectually challenging engineering problems, obsessed with learning new technologies, take pride in writing elegant code and show and strong understanding of DevSecOps – then this might be your next career move.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• Come from a full cycle engineering background with a strong understand of DevSecOps

• Think outside the box, challenge the status quo and always look for better ways of working

• Are passionate, energetic and enthusiastic professionals who are driven to be the best in their craft

• Enjoy working on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

• Show adaptability when programming in various languages (C#, Java, Python, React.js)

• Design and build applications/features around security, scalability, reliability and test automation

• Automate basic real-time anomaly detection through services such as log monitoring.

• keep ahead of their game and incorporate new technologies

Tech skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:

• Various programming languages like C#, Java, Python

• Microservices, Containerisation, Kubernetes

• Cloud (AWZ / Azure)

• API design and development
