Duties:
Influence and drive IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance function. Support evaluation and impact of new and changing regulatory compliance requirements with a technology impact. Identify gaps and deliver an annual review of Information Security policies, standards, and relevant training to all SBD employees. Develop, maintain, and improve Technology Risk program reflecting new emerging risks. Assist Business Units and Shared Services through close working relationships with business relationship managers, risk managers, technology SME’s, and Information Security leads as a strategic advisor. Ensure compliance to reduce risk exposure in an agile as a strategic interface. Advise business partners to shape their strategy with regard to technology risk, compliance, and policy exceptions. Deliver annual training for Technology policies, controls, processes, roles, and capabilities. Develop methodologies using a broad array of communication tools to inform, persuade, influence, direct, and facilitate compliance and risk reduction. Document, share, and enforce best security compliance practices for all cloud technologies. Review the information security posture for the IT Infrastructure and applications. Improve the information security posture by understanding the security risks to the business, following up on priorities, and the evolving threat landscape. Partial telecommute benefit (2 days WFH).
Requirements:
Must have a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or a related field of study (willing to accept a foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or related occupation performing cybersecurity compliance and auditing.
Alternatively, may have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or a related field of study (willing to accept a foreign education equivalent) and 5 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or related occupation performing cybersecurity compliance and auditing.
Skills:
Must also possess the following:
- Demonstrated Expertise (DE) working with various regulatory governance and compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOX, COBIT, ISO, COSO, and SOC 1 & 2;
- DE implementing and enhancing a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (“GRC”) workflow tool;
- DE coordinating the remediation of findings from static/dynamic code scanning tools, vulnerability scanners, and security misconfigurations in the Cloud environment reported by Cloud governance monitoring tools, and coordinating the remediation of findings identified during an external audit or external penetration test of the organization’s environment;
- DE performing an Information Security Risk assessment and tracking the findings from architectural design review, control gaps, and vulnerability scanner reports to an enterprise-wide risk register; and
- DE applying relevant IT audit and security control standards, driving and maintaining the compliance initiative across the organization, and collaborating with technical teams on major security initiatives.
