Security Analyst

About the Job:Cyderes is looking for a dedicated and experienced security analyst to join our Attack Surface Management and Vulnerability Management team. The Security Analyst will be responsible for focusing on patch and vulnerability management.  And will eventually move to using BigFix and other tools to push auto remediation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patch and vulnerability management.  Candidate will eventually move to using BigFix and other tools to push auto remediation.
• Expected to create technical and non-technical documentation for multiple clients for weekly and monthly presentation.
• Experience in investigating CVEs and vulnerabilities and reporting back to clients with weekly analysis of the findings
• Communicate with clients in weekly cadence calls to present findings. Both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of progressing/in-depth IT experience.
• Cloud Experience Is mandatory – exposure to AWS, Azure and/or GCP. 
• Networking experience is a plus
• Exposure to other technologies is a plus (system administration, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, etc)
• Microsoft Office Suite – Powerpoint and Excel focus
• Scripting language experience a big plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing clear,
• concise, and professional documentation for areas of assigned responsibility
