Description

ActiveFence is seeking to hire an Intelligence Infrastructure Red Team Expert for a full time position. The role includes researching, evaluating, and challenging verification and access mechanisms across various platforms and solutions.

You will be responsible for generating insights, methods, and signals derived from diverse intelligence sources, in addition to conducting red team exercises to identify critical vulnerabilities, high-risk abuses, while providing actionable insights and mitigation.


Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting Red Team operations, including planning and execution to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Uncovering malicious actors and their abuse tactics via intelligence analysis and investigation.
  • Research and development of new operational and infrastructure bypass methodologies.
  • Monitoring web and mobile environments - including social media platforms, forums, blogs, mobile applications, and the darknet - to detect malicious activity, vulnerabilities and risks.
  • Report writing.

Requirements

We are looking for an expert with a ‘Can Do!’ approach with the following desirable skills, qualities and experience:

  • Background from Intelligence units or equivalent.
  • Proven background in CTI, fraud and intelligence infrastructure teams.
  • Experience in operational processes and / or investigations within the different realms of the cyber sphere (mobile environments and web).
  • Knowledge in OSINT investigation techniques.
  • Familiarity and hands on experience with a variety of platforms - social media, apps, etc. 
  • Online security orientation.
  • Proven ability to identify trends and methodologies.
  • Fluent English (Additional languages are a plus).
  • Curiosity and out of the box thinking.
  • A proactive and independent learner of new practice areas and technological tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
