Job Description:We are seeking a seasoned Patching Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in system patching administration, specializing in vulnerability and patch management for production systems.Key Requirements:• 5-8 years of experience in vulnerability and patch management• Expertise in securing Microsoft environments, Linux-based VMs, and physical servers through automation• Mandatory experience with Qualys VMDR and Intune administration (minimum 2 years)Essential Functions:• Analyze vulnerability reports and recommended patches from the VA Team• Assess and automate patching processes according to established policies• Ensure all systems are up-to-date with vulnerability fixes• Create and report on patching activities• Perform emergency patch rollouts and reverts as needed• Conduct post-patching activities• Maintain current versions of functionalities and technologies in production through change management processes• Demonstrate a security and automation mindset• Perform first-level event management and troubleshooting; escalate issues to regional support teams as needed• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and flexible shift timings• Meet departmental metrics, SLAs, and SLOs• Prioritize patches and review the Qualys Dashboard

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field• Experience with enterprise vulnerability detection and patching platforms (e.g., ServiceNow Vulnerability Management, Qualys, Endpoint Management, CrowdStrike, Intune)• Familiarity with troubleshooting technical issues and infrastructure research tools
