About the Role

You will be supporting the day-to-day Compliance operations within the Reinsurance P&C & L&H Business Unit, focused on the EMEA region.

Critical responsibilities include executing and overseeing training activities, drafting and maintaining compliance standards and supporting the organization and efficient running of the Compliance team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Training Champion for Reinsurance Compliance, by planning training and awareness activities, creating content and organising delivery and supporting operational execution, including reporting
  • Contribute to business unit specific compliance standards and processes and ensuring maintenance of frameworks
  • Understand operational risk frameworks within Swiss Re and support CorSo Compliance team in adhering
  • Prepare and facilitate management reporting
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordination between Business Unit and global compliance frameworks

 

About the Team

The Reinsurance P&C & L&H EMEA Compliance team acts as both an enabler that supports business activities regarding ethical and regulatory compliance and a control and governance function providing assurance on Compliance Risk matters for the Reinsurance Business Unit. Our team is global with members located in all three regions and come from a variety of backgrounds.

 

About You

As a strong organizational thinker and detail-oriented person, you excel in keeping oversight and managing various deadlines and topics. You have strong communication and drafting skills. In addition, you have strong interpersonal skills and work well with colleagues and stakeholders of varied backgrounds.

 

Essentials:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification
  • Some experience in Compliance, Legal or Risk Management
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken), other languages a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Curious and energetic, seeking out creative solutions
  • Team player adeptly working in an environment where new topics and projects constantly emerge

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 1800 and EUR 2900 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

 

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
