We are looking for an exceptional Associate Threat Analyst to help our prospects and customers optimize their value within BioCatch solutions.
The BioCatch Associate Threat Analyst, based in the US, is suitable for someone starting out their career in analytics and/or data science who wants to accelerate their career through the application of their skills in the exciting area of fraud prevention. This role is a first for BioCatch and the successful candidate will be focused on supporting BioCatch's expansion into the tier 3 banking organisations that come to us via our expanding partners network.
BioCatch is an extremely high paced company and the role will require someone who is confident to work autonomously, with support, to apply themselves to self-learning and bring their own ideas on how to innovate to scale this side of our business effectively. The role will have a significant impact and should be thought of as a career accelerator for someone starting out or building their skills.
It can be difficult to distill this role down to a regular day-to-day, because every day is different, however some key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong internal relationships with the various BioCatch people tasked with building the partners network
- Provide basic training sessions to our partner customers
- Support the technical side of the implementation of a streamlined process for partners onboarding
- Work on scalable and standardised analytical reports
- Support any tactical responses to immediate fraud attacks
- Continually learn and develop towards a career as an SME in the field of digital fraud prevention
Requirements
- Completed training/learning in an applicable field such as Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Programming
- Degree level would be an advantage, but not essential for the Associate role
- Basic competency and experience of using SQL to interrogate data in real world applications
- Basic competency with Python would be an advantage, but not essential for the Associate role
- Some basic understanding of the concept of Machine Learning for classification
- Some experience of presenting to groups of mixed audience types would be an advantage
- History of maintaining strong relationships in a professional environment
- Good communications and teamwork
- Self and quick learner
- Professional attitude
