HOW YOU WILL DO IT
 

The IT Security and Risk Management Intern is responsible for assisting in the detection and response of adverse information security events, assisting in maintaining internal and external compliance, and development, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of new and current systems and applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Ensure internal customer satisfaction by resolving routine operational issues regarding areas of expertise or assignment utilizing Plexus policies and procedures.
• Utilize strong problem solving skills to resolve Service Now incidents and document the process taken to each resolution.
• Monitor information security systems and reports to detect and respond to adverse events.
• Assist in the containment and cleanup of malware.
• Develop and/or update documentation.
• Assist in the development of simple to moderate new applications to fulfill company needs.
• Completes assigned projects to enhance, maintain and support existing software.
• Assist in the collection and analysis of control evidence to ensure accurate information is recorded for internal and external compliance in a timely manner.
• Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
   

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Student working toward an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS for entire duration of internship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Junior level status
• GPA: 3.0 or higher is preferred
