Apogee Engineering is seeking an Acquisition Intelligence Analyst to work with the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate. As an Acquisition Intelligence Analyst, you will contribute to intelligence-sensitive program development and address specific program intelligence requirements, as well as provide general support including attending meetings and representing acquisition intelligence equities, preparing, presenting briefings, graphics, and visuals for and to leadership on threat intelligence or intelligence supportability..

This is a full-time position located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. At the customer's discretion, the position may allow a hybrid work schedule (two days of work from home)

 What you will be doing:

  • Provide expert-level issue resolution, and programmatic and technical recommendation support
  • Contribute to intelligence-sensitive program development and address specific program intelligence requirements
  • Assess the impact of technically advanced threat and security support issues
  • Assist with reducing program and operational risks
  • Provide general support to include attending meetings and representing acquisition intelligence equities, preparing, presenting briefings, graphics, and visuals for and to leadership on threat intelligence or intelligence supportability
  • Support with researching intelligence reporting to identify topics of interest or concern to programs
  • Perform administrative and support functions such as database management, tracking program engagements, etc. and adhere to security guidelines in the handling of intelligence information
  • Provide analytical support services serving as a team member or independently and must have knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience in performing tasks such as (but not limited to) identifying, reviewing, and analyzing threats, dependencies, and requirements
  • Provide guidance and expertise to AFLCMC Acquisition Intelligence personnel and the sensitive programs supported
  • Support with ad hoc task as dictated by the customer
Minimum Requirements: Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen Clearance: TS w/SCI Eligibility Education: High School Diploma Years of Experience: Minimum of 15 years relevant experience of which 5 years directly supporting the DoD to include:
  • Knowledge of DoD, USAF, AFLCMC and private sector acquisition principles, guidance, Executive Orders, regulations and procedures
  • Experience contributing to intelligence-sensitive program development and address specific program intelligence requirements
  • Experience supporting research intelligence reporting to identify topics of interest or concern to programs
  • Possess proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications 
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Requirements: Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience of which 3 years supporting the DoD to include:
    • Experience supporting Joint weapon systems acquisition programs
    • Acquisition Professional Development Program Level II Certification
    • Experience as Program Element Monitor/Resource Officer
