Are you busy with Hack the Box, CTF’s or just playing with your computer? Are you the go-to person for people in your surroundings for computer related stuff. Because well… to non-technical people, you can do it ALL!

We would like you to be one of our go-to people. For us at the SOC but also for our clients. You will need to analyze complex security issues and configure security products to prevent cyber security threats for our clients. We will help you to get there.

Our ON2IT Cybersecurity Traineeship offers you a great chance to develop and specialize yourself in the cybersecurity field. To become the expert in one of the most critical domains of the IT industry!

What is the ON2IT Cybersecurity Traineeship?

It is a 7 month fast-track to train you to become one of our experts.

Why? Because you have the talents and we want to unlock your potential.

How? The traineeship is an intensive training program of 7 months. You will start at our Security Operation Centre (SOC) in a 5-shift operation. Cases enter our SOC via our own eventflow. Our SOC Specialists investigate these cases to protect the environment of our customers. With hands-on training and guidance of experts in this expertise we will equip you for this job. You will learn how to recognize and detect threats and how to protect and guide our clients.

Requirements

What’s the end goal?

During your traineeship you are developing into a SOC Specialist. When you have completed the traineeship successfully, you are the SOC Specialist, with knowledge about security, networking and endpoint protection.

Surely, it doesn’t end here; the world of cybersecurity is dynamic and fast pace, so with different courses and trainings you will continue to train yourself, just like the rest of your ON2IT colleagues. Imagine certificates for networking, endpoint, incident response, or even cloud. What are your next milestones?

What we need from you: a few criteria

To be able to join the traineeship, you should at least have the following:

• Most importantly: Talent with a passion for cybersecurity
• CCNA certificate – although if you don’t have it yet, we can support you
• European passport to pass the security screening
• A driver’s license and the possession of a car because the public transport isn’t sufficient for the shift times
• Located within a 45/50min drive from our office in Zaltbommel
• Willingness to work 5-shifts; 2 morning shifts (06:00 - 14:30), 2 afternoon shifts (14:00 - 22:30), 2 night shifts (22:00 - 06:30), followed by 4 days off
